About Us
Contour Training Solutions is a trading name of Wet and High Adventures Ltd who have been running Active IQ courses since 2018.
The directors decided to set up a specific website for these courses to make it easier for our non adventure based clients to navigate and access our education courses.
Gail CORNISH - Director
Gail has over 20 years of experience in education and training, during which she has delivered a diverse range of training programs across multiple sectors, primarily in Education, the Ministry of Defence (MOD), the Nuclear industry, and Outdoor activities.
Her previous positions include Curriculum Manager, Company Commander, Battalion Training Major, and Fleet Certified Instructor, and she currently serves as the Head of Education and Training.
Gail has also attained a Level 7 qualification in Leadership and Management (MCGI) and celebrated her graduation at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in October 2022.
In her free time, Gail enjoys playing netball and competes in a league in Somerset.
Gwilym starks - director
Gwilym has over 20 years of experience in the education and training sector having held roles as an Associate Lecturer on both FE and HE programmes as well as a Head of Department in an independent school.
He holds a number of qualifications including Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices and a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement.
His current role is very much delivering outdoor and leisure qualifications for the parent company, Wet and High Adventures Ltd but you may well have contact with him during the booking process.
